Tablette trouvée en 1887 dans le puits d'une villa gallo-romaine, à Raunanum (Rom), sur la voie romaine de Saintes à Poitiers. Fouilles menées par le propriétaire M. Blumereau.
Tablettes de défixion : tablettes de plomb sur lesquelles on gravait des formules qui vouaient un adversaire (cocher ou gladiateur généralement) aux dieux infernaux. Elles étaient ensuite enterrées dans les tombes ou sous la piste du cirque ou l’arène de l’amphithéâtre.
