Museum admission

Due to the closure of part of the permanent exhibition halls for renovation, a single admission fee applies.

  • Permanent collections: free
  • Temporary exhibition: €8 Full price - €6 Reduced price and groups - Free under certain conditions

Conditions of free admission

Free admission for : under 18s, 18 to 25s (members of the European Community), students at the Ecole du Louvre, INP, art and catering schools, professional artists, journalists, working teachers (education pass required), unemployed, RSA welfare recipients, members of ICOM, ICOMOS, Société des amis du musée...

Guided tours and workshops


Payment for guided tours must be made on the day of the tour at the museum ticket office.

To take a guided tour, you must pay the full admission fee plus the corresponding guided tour fee.

Groups pay reduced admission.

Pour suivre une visite-conférence, vous devrez vous acquitter du droit d’entrée plein tarif et celui de la visite-conférence correspondante.

Les groupes s'acquittent du droit d'entrée au tarif réduit.
