Security measures

c_logo vigipirate_sécurité renforcée risque attentat.png

Following the terror attacks in Paris in 2015 and to ensure the safety of our visitors, the Archeology national museum is strictly applying the security measures decided by the French authorities.

The Vigipirate posture is active. The entire national territory is maintained at the level of "enhanced security - risk of attack".

The museum is fully opened. Workshops, individual visits, group activities and our events (concerts, meetings) are maintained.

Luggages and big items are not allowed.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience which may be caused by the extra security checks at the entrance.

Opening hours of the museum

The museum is opened every day from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm every day except on Tuesday.

Closed on December 25th, January 1st and May 1st

The gallo-roman collections are closed (rooms 10 to 15) because of restoration works

You can visit these spaces with our mobil application ArcheoMAN
